I also use xcp-ng and xenserver. Ive been trying to come up with a good way to clean up xcp/xenserver tools installations after removal. The issue seems to be the installer makes immutable registry entries, meaning some of reg keys cant be deleted or even viewed running as administrator/domain administrator. Trying to get XCP-ng installed on a box of mine and it goes through the normal setup process just fine, when I get to the part to select RAID I do so by selecting 2 identical drives for a RAID 1 config, I click OK to erase the drives, and then I just am stuck on the blue screen and the Virtual Machine Storage prompt never comes up.

I unblocked 111 as well but it didn't seem to change anything I tested both ESXi 6.0 and XCP-ng 7.4 (XenServer forge) last week and i can confirm that the performance is just a bit towards ESXi. XCP-ng = 96Mbits vs 101 Mbits ESXi. tested with same server, Switch, Windows 10 VM, with same files. If you have no Windows server (which I'm sure he does ) why not? If we get xcp-ng support we will build xen orchestra from source. What are the benefits of one over the other? I get one deals with only the hypervisor and one deals with the orchestrator, but which is a better scenario when we really need support? I am interested in XCP-ng, but got a bit worried when this sub has got so few members. Are you at ?

This is a community-powered version of XenServer with ALL FEATURES ENABLED. Oct 01, 2019 · I currently have FreeNas setup as a VM on my xcp-ng server. The VM is configured with 64GB of ram, and direct access to the raid card that was flash into IT mode. I have 10 WD 2.5 blue 2TB drives attached to it in one Zpool using RAIDZ2.
